Winners will be revealed at the Governor’s Cup Awards Luncheon, a lively annual tradition that brings together several hundred guests to celebrate the rich history of entrepreneurship in Arkansas and its exciting future!
“This is a state where entrepreneurship is embedded in its DNA, and so by providing funding for a competition like the Governor’s Cup, it’s extremely vital and important for the state of Arkansas because it provides entrepreneurial-minded students a place to develop their ideas and go and be able to create these businesses in the state of Arkansas, and that helps create jobs and does a lot more than people think. And so by sponsoring an event like this, it can do tremendous things for the state itself.”

“For more than 20 years, this competition has fueled innovation for the state – whether or not students pursue the ideas they’re proposing – it benefits them in the jobs they currently have, and the companies and businesses they are currently are or will be employed with. To businesses that are thinking about relocating to the state or coming into the state. I think it’s a huge positive for them to see that we are innovative, that we have people in the state that are innovative.”
