SouthWind Analytics, an affiliate of The Arkansas Capital Corporation Group and established in 2013, is dedicated to providing business and financial institutions with geospatial intelligence for placing capital in the marketplace through discovery of previously unknown business opportunities.
With the dynamic economic landscape, businesses are increasingly looking for ways to do more with less and maximize their existing assets to extract the most value. To achieve this, SouthWind Analytics uses Geographic Information Systems (GIS) to offer rapid and efficient identification of special investment opportunities, allowing businesses to be better informed and positioned to make more profitable decisions when investing their dollars in the marketplace.
SouthWind Analytics specializes in assisting EB-5 programs and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) throughout the United States with identifying eligible investment areas that are an integral part of their business model. SouthWind Analytics also offers economic impact analysis using the IMPLAN economic modeling suite, web application development and GIS consulting.
As key members of the GIS and Leadership Team at Connect Arkansas, Thomas Melton and Emerson Evans were integral in the execution of more than $7 million in Federal and State grants, as well as a first-of-its-kind interactive broadband map for the state of Arkansas. While Connect Arkansas was incredibly successful in implementing new programs dedicated to broadband education, it had to pass on many exciting opportunities utilizing GIS tools that were not consistent with the Connect Arkansas mission and goals.
As a small company with a full service platform of business and geospatial intelligence tools, web application development and economic impact analysis capabilities, SouthWind Analytics is uniquely positioned to provide solutions in the market.
