Judges will work through the month of November to review and score the business plans to determine the winners in the following two categories:
- Best Business Plan
- Most Innovative Product
Teams who submit plans that earn the 25 highest cumulative scores will be chosen as finalists.
The Top 25 Finalists announcement will be made online Wednesday, December 16, at 1:30 p.m. Watch the announcement at arcapital.com/aeaf/yes/.
The finalists will have over a month (and a holiday break) to prepare for the 11th annual Y.E.S. for Arkansas Expo Day, which will be Friday, January 22, 2016, from 10:00 a.m. to noon, at Park Plaza in Little Rock.
Sponsors will also need to gather T-shirt sizes and get media release forms signed for all competitors. AEAF staff will coordinate this with sponsors following the Top 25 announcement.
At Expo Day, teams will have booths to display and demonstrate their business products and services for both Park Plaza patrons, and a new team of judges. The judges will score the booths to determine the winners in two more categories:
- Best Marketing Piece
- Best Retail Booth Display
